Former Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku Warns John Stones For Leaving Everton

Everton is home: Romelu Lukaku needs John Stones to stay put.

Romelu Lukaku has asked colleague John Stones to stay with him in what is a “decent circumstance” at Everton instead of joining the striker’s former club Chelsea.

Lukaku, 22, left Stamford Bridge permanently the last summer in the wake of discovering consistent football difficult to find.

“John is in a good circumstance at a decent club which believes in him,” Lukaku said.

“He is playing and learning a lot from Phil Jagielka. He’s been here two years, but this is the year where he truly needs to confirm he is the top player he can be.”

“This club has huge potential, with the players we have and the desire the director has. He is in a good place. He’s on to a good thing. “Stones has been the subject of interest from Chelsea all through the late spring, Everton dismisses huge cash offers and more than once saying the player was not available to be acquired”.

In spite of the saga, Stones has played both games of the Toffees’ 2015/16 Premier League campaign in this way, awing as they drew 2-2 at home with Watford before shocking Southampton 3-0 at St Mary’s last week.

Lukaku feels Everton have gathered in a number of talented young players that have the ability to improve for the better if they’re given the chance and stick together.

“We are young, but we have a great deal of potential,” Lukaku concluded.

“We had an incredible first year when I came here. A year ago we had a hard year, an, exceptionally intense year.”

Lukaku was speaking ahead of Everton’s home league clash with Manchester City today. Everton lost to City last week and the club can measure up to a 103-year-old club record of nine successive top-flight wins since they beat Everton.

City won their last six Premier League games last season to put some shine on a part disappointing campaign.

Pellegrini “The 61-year-old said: “It matters to have three more points in the table and it is necessary to proceed in the same way we played the last two games, on the grounds that we must be a reliable group during the entire season”.

“But if that is a new record, that for me is not important.” City’s coach said

In conclusion, I believe it is left for John stones to decide on what he wants. He might be chasing the money involved or just wanted a new environment. Let’s see what happens.

I know Chelsea is as good at acquiring great players and dumping them on the bench. What do you think about this situation? Let us know by leaving your comment below and share on Facebook, Twitter and Google+
