Netflix Nigeria: How to Get Unlimited Free Trial Subscriptions

Getting free Netflix is possible if you join Netflix (NLFX) and after that cancel the service before the end of the first month. I have been using Netflix for nearly two years when I travel to places like USA, and sometimes I wonder what I’d do without one for my entertainment fix.

Based on my schedule and mood, I could elect to receive DVDs by mail (coming to Nigeria soon), or watch many great movies and TV series through their instant streaming. Before enrolling and signing up for any Netflix free trial version in Nigeria, check this review out to find out more about the pros and cons of Netflix Free trial.

Netflix is an extremely popular DVD rental company from the U.S., well-known for its value-for-money online subscription service. By providing a fresh customer a free Netflix trial, they’re hoping those that sign up for the trial can become a customer.

With over 23 million subscribers from the U.S., Canada and Netflix now in Nigeria, they are proving themselves to be one of the best among the competitors. In fact, they have added 1.3 million customers within the very first few months in Nigeria. While subscribers are dropping over at Comcast (CMCSA), Netflix has already become popular in Nigeria compared to DSTV.

Getting Your Netflix 1-Month Free Trial Offer

Netflix gives you access to use a large number of movies through DVD rentals (not in Nigeria yet) and instant watching.

Here’s how Netflix works:

For $7.99 per month, you’ll be able to instantly watch unlimited movies and television episodes streaming over the internet to your computer, TV or internet connected Blu-ray players, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, IPhone or iPad

To receive DVDs by mail, plans starts from as little as $9.99 per month. Although, this is not available in Netflix Nigeria now.

Select a list of movies and television episodes you would like to receive. And that will become your queue to be shipped to your home address.

For mail rental, the subsequent DVD on your queue will be mailed once you return the previous rented DVDs

Keep your DVD as long as you want, without extra fees. Shipping is protected either ways by Netflix.

I would say that the internet streaming feature of Netflix can be a discouraging factor for me personally. For a low cost, there’s no limit on how many shows you can watch, but data cost is expensive in Nigeria now. Why waste your money with a DVD when you can watch it digitally at a much lower cost?

In terms of its cons, Netflix doesn’t have too many. If you want to watch shows or movies through instant streaming, you need to have decent Internet speed, otherwise it could affect the quality of what you are watching.

Also, if you intend to rent their DVDs by mail, there’s a turnaround use of around 3 days – 24 hours to return it, a day for Netflix to process it, and 24 hours so that it is mailed for your requirements.

Also, since Netflix isn’t cable, its “new” shows aren’t really that fresh. Two pay TV services, Starz and Showtime, have both announced that Netflix subscribers won’t be capable to watch one of the series, which can be the first running on cable, like “Live or Die Hard” and “Star Wars” after the current deal ends this year.

But to Netflix’s credit, they have managed to the ante. Netflix said early this month it had acquired streaming rights to “Mad Men”, an increasingly popular series showing on cable channel AMC. It had also acquired the rights to “House of Cards”, a new series starring actor Kevin Spacey, could it shows on any cable channel.

If Netflix continues to enhance its offerings in Nigeria and also to go after shows not seen on cable, I’m sure this is just the start of greater things to result from Netflix in Nigeria.

How to Use Gmail to Get Unlimited Netflix Free Trials

Redditor Garrxxrrrrret discovered how you can keep enjoying Netflix Nigeria free trials using a little-known Gmail email address account.

If you have a Gmail account, you can essentially include certain characters and symbols, similar to or more sign or a period, into your email address. This throws off “third parties by thinking it’s a totally new email address, while Gmail treats it the same than your original email address (they overlook periods and some characters)”.

Thus, rather than using an ordinary email like…

example@gmail.com

I would have the ability to use…

examp.l.e@gmail.com

On the other hand, or something like this…

ex.ample@gmail.com

This way you still receive all of the emails that you regularly would under you regular account (example@gmail.com), but the services that you agree to sign up will treat it like another email address and user (examp.l.e@gmail.com).

I know a lot of people who have tried this trick. I gave it a shot myself and it works.

It’s been noticed that you can use any symbol for this hack. For example

exam&ple@gmail.com

exa!m..pl#e@gmail.com

Both of the email addresses above would work. This implies there are thousands if not many distinctive iterations you can use for your email address to continue enjoying the Netflix free trials.
