Chelsea have been given a support in their reported pursuit for Juventus star Paul Pogba, after the Daily Express reported that the Serie A champions had agreed a deal to sign a potential replacement for Paul.
The Old Lady have agreed a £8m deal with Inter Milan for their midfielder Hernanes, which may welcome the Blues to finish a move to sign Pogba to Stamford Bridge (reported Express).
The Express confirms that the 22-year-old has all the interest and ready to move back to the Premier League, having requested a contract that would pay him £300,000 a week.
Keep in mind that Hernanes’ arrival may make it less demanding for Massimiliano Allegri’s side to get over the loss of Pogba, the Brazilian is apparently a more direct replacement for added midfielders that have left Juventus Stadium this late spring, Andrea Pirlo.
He has self-discipline on the ball and a passing ability which may help supporters of the club to remember that the Italian players are great. And those same fans will be hoping that he is playing close with Pogba this season, instead of filling the void that the Chelsea target leaves behind.
